+ Sangam

Day Added

The unhurried pilgrimage: Varanasi at leisure, a full day at Prayagraj's Triveni Sangam, and an Ayodhya option for Ram Mandir darshan — paced so it never feels like a race between rivers.

Day-by-Day Plan

Four days,
three sacred cities.

Day 01

Arrive · Ghats on Foot · Evening Ganga Aarti

  • Reach Varanasi (VNS airport or Cantt station) and check in near the river.
  • Rest through the afternoon, then walk the ghats from Assi towards Dashashwamedh, with a quiet pause at Manikarnika.
  • Evening Ganga aarti at Dashashwamedh, watched from a boat just off the ghat.
  • Dinner in the old city · overnight Varanasi.

Day 02

Sunrise Boat · Kashi Vishwanath · Sarnath · Temple Cluster

  • Pre-dawn Subah-e-Banaras boat as the river wakes over the ghats.
  • Kashi Vishwanath darshan through the corridor, with queue assistance, then the Annapurna and Kaal Bhairav shrines.
  • Mid-morning at Sarnath: Dhamek Stupa, the ruins and the archaeological museum.
  • Afternoon temple cluster: Sankat Mochan Hanuman, Durga Kund and the marble Tulsi Manas Mandir, plus a look at the BHU campus.
  • Overnight Varanasi.

Day 03

Day-Trip to Prayagraj · Triveni Sangam

  • Early drive to Prayagraj (~2.5 hours) — the holy confluence city of Allahabad.
  • A boat to Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati meet, for a sacred dip or sankalp.
  • Akshayavat and the Patalpuri temple within Allahabad Fort (when open to visitors), and Hanuman Mandir on the riverbank.
  • Anand Bhavan and a relaxed late lunch before the return drive.
  • Return to Varanasi by evening · overnight Varanasi (or stay overnight in Prayagraj on request).

Day 04

Ayodhya Option or Slow Kashi · Depart

  • For pilgrims set on Ram Janmabhoomi: a long day extending towards Ayodhya for Ram Mandir and Hanuman Garhi darshan — best done as an overnight via our Varanasi + Prayagraj + Ayodhya package, as Ayodhya is roughly 6–7 hours by road.
  • For a gentler close: a final slow morning in Kashi — Banarasi silk shopping, a last ghat walk, or the New Vishwanath (Birla) Temple inside BHU and the Bharat Kala Bhavan museum.
  • Light lunch and check-out.
  • Afternoon or evening transfer to the airport or station for onward travel.

Before You Go

What to know
for four days.

Stretching to three cities works beautifully with a little planning — here is how to keep it sacred rather than strenuous.

  • Four days lets you pair Kashi with Prayagraj's Triveni Sangam and, with planning, reach Ayodhya for Ram Mandir darshan.
  • Prayagraj is a comfortable ~2.5-hour day-trip; Ayodhya is far longer (6–7 hours each way) and is best given its own overnight.
  • The Sangam boat and dip are calmest early — go at first light and avoid weekend and Maghi/Kumbh-period crowds.
  • If Ram Mandir is a priority, choose the bookable 4-day Varanasi + Prayagraj + Ayodhya package so Ayodhya gets a proper overnight rather than a rushed round trip.
  • Keep one day deliberately loose — four days is enough to slow down, and Varanasi rewards it.
  • October to March stays the most comfortable season across all three cities.
